Meet The Team

Isabel Leticia Castro is a dedicated community leader and health professional with a heart for service. With many years in the nonprofit sector, Isabel’s journey with Maxitia Project Inc. began with a simple belief: that every member of the community deserves a long and healthy life and the opportunity to fulfill their life goals.

Dr. Leticia Villegas is the Vice-President of Maxitia Project Inc. Dr. Villegas has over 30 years of experience in the field of Health Care and Health Care Administration. Dr. Villegas is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of all communities.

Dr. Dale Alexander has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr. Alexander is the Medical Director of DA Medical Services. A native of Brooklyn, NY, after graduating from the New York School of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury NY, Dr. Alexander started practicing in NYC. Dr. Alexander has been involved in many different endeavors in addition to his practice. Dr. Alexander is a Community Leader and Educator. He was voted a Notable Healthcare Leader 2022 by Crain's NY Business. Since 2005, Dr. Alexander has been the team Physician for the New York Police Department Football team, baseball team and the boxing team. He has also served as a New York, Nassau County Police Surgeon.

Dr. Hector Javier Castro is an expert and Consultant in the fields of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgical Critical Care - Nutrition, and Trauma Medicine. Dr. Castro provides community health and wellness education programs  that enable the community members to better participate in health care decision making and navigation. He oversees our Health Shepherding Program that advises and coordinates access to health care and acts as a health advocate for community members.

Lorena Ramos, CMA, is the New Jersey Program Coordinator and Community Health Educator for Maxitia Project Inc. Ms. Ramos has many years in Healthcare provision and Community Education. Ms. Ramos is also a celebrated Plastic Artist and Art Teacher.

Philip Henry Teplen, JD, provides organization consulting on administration and program development for Maxitia Project Inc. Mr. Teplen is President at Practice Enrichment VBM Ltd and the Managing Director at PRISONER RESCUE GROUP.
