About the event

Among a nationally representative US sample of HIV-infected adults receiving medical care, the prevalence of diagnosed diabetes mellitus (DM) was 10.3%. HIV-infected adults may be likely to have DM at younger ages and in the absence of obesity compared with the general US adult population.
These chronic diseases are of major concern in the communty, both as singular helath affectaions and in combination as the HIV population ages.
Come and learn about these health issues in our communty.
